Summer Learning Challenge set for June 1-July 31

AUBURN, Ala.- The Auburn Public Library invites everyone to “Color Our World” for the 2025 Summer Learning Challenge! The fun begins June 1 and ends July 31. Online registration begins May 19.

What’s the Summer Learning Challenge? Read or listen for at least 1,000 minutes to complete the challenge and help us reach a community goal of 1 million minutes read.

Earn your first badge and prize by joining us on Saturday, May 31, from 10:30 a.m.-12 noon for the Summer Learning Challenge Kickoff. Enjoy snacks, music by a DJ, crafts, games and more!

Participating in the Summer Learning Challenge is simple:

  • Register at auburnpl.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack Tracker app to any smartphone or tablet.
  • Read or listen for at least 1,000 minutes during the challenge.
  • Log your reading & activities via Beanstack.
  • Complete the challenge to earn a T-shirt.

The challenge is not just for kids — everyone can participate. You do not need a library card to participate.

Then join us all summer long for a variety of programs. We will have movies, crafts, stories and special guests of all kinds! Check out our calendar for the details.
